Radhika Apte has come a long way since her early acting days and the actress has garnered quite the fame with a huge list of Hollywood films bagged up in her kitty. With immense love for theatre, Radhika marked her debut in films with 2005 film Vaah! Life Ho Toh Aisi! Born on September 7 in Tamil Nadu, the actress has been brought up in Pune and has worked in films of different languages, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Bengali, Marathi and English. Radhika hails from a Maharashtrian family of doctors and is an Economics and Mathematics graduate from Fergusson College in Pune.

 The actress is a trained Kathak dance for 8 years which eventually led her towards theatre and films. Radhika struggled her way into films and finally lost her hope after which she returned to Pune. Post that the actress immediately flew to London to learn contemporary dance at London's Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance for a year and met the love of her life and husband Benedict Taylor. The couple have been married since 2012 and are crazy about each other. Radhika has garnered her fame with mind-blowing performances in films Antaheen, Samaantar, Manjhi – The Mountain Man, Badlapur, Hunterr, Phobia, Parched, Lust Stories, Sacred Games, Ghoul, Pad Man and many others. The film Manjhi: The Mountain Man is a biographical film based on the life Dashrath Manjhi, a man who carved a path through a hill alone with the help of a hammer and a chisel once his wife does because of no roads in his village.

Badlapur (2015) – Badlapur is a neo-noir film directed by Sriram Raghavan and produced under the banner of Maddock Films. The film was nominated as the Best Film for the 61st Filmfare awards and is based on the novel Death's Dark Abyss by Italian writer Massimo Carlotto.

The film Andhadhun is a black comedy crime film written and directed by Sriram Raghavan. The plot of the film revolves around the life of a pianist who accidentally gets entangled in the murder of a film actor.
